Im going into the board room late, as I was working but armed with my new breifcase under my arm, but afraid people will notice that it is a knock off briefcase instead of the real thing. It is difficult for me to work up the nerve to walk into this room late, but I finally make myself do it, and realize it wasn’t so hard after all. People are calling at my name as I walk into the board room, trying to be inconspicous in my quest for a chair. but the room is primarily filled with ladders instead of chairs. At first, I am ebarrassed by this as it seems to be dirupting the meeting, but then I gradually preceive the relaxed atmosphere of things, and everything feels fine.
